I wanted to wait before reviewing these perches. I bought 3 of these, one for each bird, male and female Eclectus and a Lilac Crowned Amazon. Going to the Vet for pedicures gets expensive, so far after 2 months of use everybody’s nails are still nice and feel good when they step up. They also like these perches for wiping their beaks. I consider this a great purchase and in the long run a money saver! I like the top of the perch too which is smooth for the soft underside of their feet.
Patented Safety Pumice Perch™ - Medium
high quality perches. I love the big plastic piece that attaches the perch to the cage. I have a lot of trouble with the small wingnuts and washers on other perches. Also, AMAZING customer service. Will be a repeat customer!
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
What are the lengths of the medium and small perches? I have one that I used for my Cockatiel but the ratio between the bird and the perch on your picture seems way off compared to the one I have. It's like the small one that you recommend for cockatiels is smaller than the one I have.
Medium is 12" and the small is 8". Would recomend the small size for a Cockatiel. It is good to have a variety of sizes available to keep feet in the best condition.
Would the medium be good for a quaker parrot??
Yes, medium should be the perfect size for a Quaker.
