Birds are incredibly smart, and a challenge toy can provide hours of stimulation.  In nature, foraging for food and treats are part of daily life.  Can-O-Nuts™ is an incredibly strong plastic container.  It is actually made from materials used to manufacture bullet proof glass. That is why we say it is Bird Proof™!  Simply stuff with nuts or other favorite treats to keep your pet challenged and stimulated.  The small is 3.5 inches tall and 2.25 inches wide.  The large is an impressive 4.75 inches tall and 3 inches across.

Awesome foraging toys

These toys are Fantastic for our little beaks. My conures all love these they spend a great amount of time playing with them. Love the added complexity for my green cheeks without being to difficult.

Harder for a human...

I don’t know HOW the Goffin’s cockatoo I am fostering does it, but if I put a couple of nuts along with old toys or safe natural pieces like pinecones in this thing, he focuses on the treats until he gets them all out — sometimes it takes nearly an hour, and he is intent! So great for his foraging brain! It took me a little bit to figure out that you need a small screwdriver with a long shaft to open and close the cylinder. Duh. It’s made this way so a bird can’t open it up themselves, because you know they will try! To make it harder (or easier), sometimes I wrap a nut or treat in a (bird safe) cupcake paper and stick it in there, just for something different. It comes with a plastic peanut, but I removed it -- and please don't give your birds peanuts, as they contain aflatoxins and have been known to cause serious illness and even death in parrots.
