Not too rough, Irregular shape is good for feet and she uses the end for her beak as intended. Nails are much less sharp!
I really can't review. My parrot will not step up on it! Could be the neon green color, could be the size is more like large. I have to play a wait and see game with him I guess.

We have a green cheek conure, Charlie, we can't get his nails trimmed, because of lockdown, what can I use in the time, till he goes to get nails trimmed.
Crazy times for sure! A good pedicure perch will help to keep nails in check. A concrete perch like the Thermal-Lite or Safety Perch will work well. Our Manzanita Superoost has pumice pedicure strips for grip and nail health. We use cosmetic grade pumice for the Superoost - similar to an emery board. In addition to a traditional perch, you could also use a Roll Swing, which will help with nail health during play time. The Roll Swings have the same pedicure benefit. Hope that helps!
What are the diameters of medium and large thermal lite perches? Thank you
The Medium is 1.25" and the large is 1.5". Hope that helps and thanks for the question!
