Designed with rough sides for trimming nails and beaks, and a smooth top to protect sensitive feet. Safety perches help keep nails and beaks in top condition, while providing improved comfort and feet protection compared to regular rough concrete perches.

Smooth top for feet comfort and health

Rough sides for grip and keeping nails trimmed

Non-toxic and safe for your bird

Can be reversed for longer life

Cleans with soap and water

Made in USA

Extra small size is approximately 4.5 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. Each perch is hand cast, so sizes are approximate and vary slightly from piece to piece.

For use with finches, canaries, budgies, lovebirds, and other similar size birds.

What to expect from the texture: the firm, textured sides file the nails a little each time your bird grips, working gradually with daily use rather than like sandpaper. Use it as a daytime grooming perch alongside other perch shapes, introduced gradually, not as the only perch or the top sleeping perch.

Helpful guides: Not sure which size fits your bird?
