Safety Pumice Perch™ - Medium

Perch fit in cage as expected. My bird has been using it at least some of the time and his nails look to be improving, no sign of soreness on the feet.

We have these in almost every cage here, and have since we were founded in 2014. Many "pedi" perches have the rough surface all the way around but these have a smooth surface where the birds' weight rests on them, so they are comfortable on the feet and will not cause sores or inflammation (bumble foot). We recommend these to everyone who adopts from us as well as folks we assist via our Outreach and Education programs.

It's always best to give them more than one size. We use medium and large for birds like Amazons and African Greys. We use x-small, small and medium in our budgie and cockatiel flight cage. They really work for keeping nails groomed.

It took my birds (a lilac crown amazon & a maximilian pionus) a few days to get use to them, but now they are using them in favor of the other perches in their cage most of the time. They are a winner!

The best perches, I have used them for years. but the toy with the tape is really bad.......once the bird tears off the paper you have to take it out and realign the paper.......that lasts for about a minute... the worst.

Great product! I've bought several. Keeps the birds toenails buffed with out hurting the pads of their feet and super easy to clean, just soak in hot water.
