Sanded perch should be sanded all the way around and is only sanded on 2 sides. There is only one way to mount on the cage bars so if the bars are not vertical the bare side if the perch is where the nails would touch with does no good for trimming them.
My Scarlet macaw does not like them. She seems afraid of them.

RETURN process is difficult- Perch are good Quality
The RETURN process is difficult. I had not get answer from the seller at all. I sent to separated request to the contact me form in their page just one i got my order. I have to order a second perch medium size for my cockatoo.
