Birds are incredibly smart, and challenging toys can provide hours of stimulation. In nature, foraging for food and treats are part of daily life. Foraging Feeder™ is an incredibly strong plastic container. It is actually made from materials used to manufacture bullet proof glass. That is why we say it is Bird Proof™! Simply add nuts or other favorite treats to keep your pet challenged and stimulated. The small is 3 inches in diameter and the large is an impressive 4 inches.
Your birds will look forward to a fun mealtime when each meal becomes an adventure. Easy to hang with provided quick link.
Zoey my cockatoo loved this. She had it torn apart in no time.
Fun for our macaws!
I'm sure it's a great product. My cockatiel has not tried it yet.
My bird had a toy similar to this one (which he broke). I ordered this as a replacement and I like it even better. He can see through the plastic, so he knows when there's a treat in there. He even loves banging the lid against the base for fun when there's no treat inside. Great toy, I'm going to order more. (Note, get a large size for larger birds.)
My Moluccan cockatoo absolutely LOVES this toy! He loves to slide the top of the toy (the lid) up and down, up and down. I think he finds it soothing. He loves it so much that I recently purchased a second one as a back-up, just to make sure he never has to be without it!
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
What size for an Amazon Grey?
Large would work best. Will provide space for beak to access all areas of the feeder.
Does this have a ring at the top so I can add a larger stronger stainless steel quick link at the top for my M2?
It does not come standard with a ring - but if you would like one added, we would be happy to do that for you at no charge. Just mention that in your order. Hope that helps and thanks for reaching out!
which size is suitable for a sun conure? I worry that her beak may get stuck and she could get injured if I buy one with the wrong size holes.
The small size would work well for your Conure. She should enjoy the foraging challenge.
