Having been a customer of safety pumice perch for >5 years now for my four green cheek conures and can’t recommend them enough. We’ve never had to trim nails and when used on conjunction with natural perches it leaves happy healthy feet. Also great for birds to sharpen and clean their beaks. Will be coming back for however long I have birds!
Sanded perch should be sanded all the way around and is only sanded on 2 sides. There is only one way to mount on the cage bars so if the bars are not vertical the bare side if the perch is where the nails would touch with does no good for trimming them.
