Colorful and safe for hours of shredding fun. Only SF&B® uses Safe Shred™ Cotton Rope, which shreds into fine short cotton threads. Others use yarn rope that unravels into long thick sections that can entangle a bird. Birdie Bow Tie™ is woven by hand into a “Bow Tie” style bundle and anchored together with a stainless ring, and hung by a bird safe stainless steel quick link. The Large Bow Tie is approximently 11 inches long, while the Little Bow Tie is 8 inches.
I got the large size for my African Grey. I put it a bit above a perch and he really loves it. You can feel that it is high quality yarn and I do appreciate that. "Sweet Feet and Beak" has become my new favorite bird store for high quality toys for my boy, I'm so thankful that I found you guys! Thank you!

The birdie bow tie is great.
I will be returning the pizza slice paper shreds as it is way to big for my bird. My fault for not checking the size better. I was out of town and could not return it sooner. My bird loves your toys.

Rio loves it!
My Congo African Grey loves anything with rope...this new toy is no exception! Nice size, good quality, and fairly priced!
Had a lot of fun with this. Destroyed it in 3 days!
This was a fun toy. Mini macaw took two days to attack it and had a ball reducing it to toothpicks in about 3 days. Ribbons were an attractive thing to play with and he dragged it all over the house, finding and replacing its contents as he goes.
At first my bird was fine with this, he saw it as just another perch. After sitting on it a while to play with the toy I bought him, he has now become afraid to use it. This is highly unusual for him, especially as it had taken the place of his "treat perch" where he goes to receive a treat for getting in his cage. This bird will do anything for a nut, so if he's avoiding this perch after initially using it, it's a clear sign it's hurting him.
