New product award winner in 2016, the Blocks and Knots™ provides hours of shredding fun.  We start with food safe cardboard blocks - 4 inch squares for large and medium, and 3 inch by 1.75 inch for the small version.  We then string the blocks together by hand using our Safe Shred™ Cotton Rope, which shreds into fine short cotton threads.  Others use yarn rope that unravels into long thick sections that can entangle a bird.  The large Blocks N Knots™ is over 2 feet long, Medium 21 inches, and Small 12 inches.

Play Tip - Kick it up a notch by hiding some of your birds favorite nuts in the blocks.  Simply cut a small slot in the top of the block and push a seed or seeds into the block.

Kept my African Gray busy!

My African Gray really enjoyed this toy. It took him a couple of weeks to completely destroy it and now it’s time to order another one. Was told my Gray was a boy but vet thinks he may be a girl so I was advised not to give him anymore boxes to play in so we don’t encourage nesting which lead to eggs (if he’s a girl 😬) This toy gives him the joy of destroying cardboard without the risk of laying eggs. One day I’ll have him sexed, but I don’t want to incur any unnecessary stress if I don’t have to. In the meantime, I’ll just buy this high quality toy!
