Our Thermal-Lite™ perches have been approved by pet owners, veterinarians, and bird breeders. They have found it to help trim nails, stimulate leg muscles and promote healthy feet. This is not your normal "concrete" perch. It has a unique beak conditioner (the large ring) which helps keep the bird’s beak in a naturally healthy state of trim and also simulate activity in the wild. And what you cannot see is that it is not made with normal stone aggregate. Only SF&B use a special Thermal-lite™ aggregate that is much finer and lighter than normal concrete. This makes the perch much lighter for you and your cage.

My parrots are just now getting used to these perches. I have to trick them into trimming their nails, so hopefully I’m done with that. I’m looking forward to not having scratched hands from their nails. I like the graduated size so their feet don’t get used to the same size perch!

Awesome perches!!!
I absolutely love these perches. My babies love them also. They trim their nails, and my babies love to sharpen their beaks on them. I love the different sizes and colors!

Perches
I use the ‘concrete’ perches. I have two AGCs and they are the best for their toe nails and beaks.

Very nice!
These are heavy and very well made! I especially love the big round part at the end that screws into the cage for rubbing beaks! Very pleased with this product!
I really like this product. My African Grey had nails that were so long that it actually hurt to carry her…..now after only using a little over one week there is a remarkable difference. Great product!
Had a lot of fun with this. Destroyed it in 3 days!
This was a fun toy. Mini macaw took two days to attack it and had a ball reducing it to toothpicks in about 3 days. Ribbons were an attractive thing to play with and he dragged it all over the house, finding and replacing its contents as he goes.
