Today we received a great note from a customer complementing our products and service. But the true hero is Kelly who just rescued a Mealy Amazon from poor care. People who open their hearts and homes to birds in need are amazing. Here is Kelly's note.
I purchased the large purple perch for my African Grey three weeks ago, but he won’t use it. I introduced it gradually, both outside and inside the cage, but he continues to avoid stepping on it. He may simply not like the color. Hopefully once he does use it, I will be able to tell if it helps with trimming his nails.
I purchased the small perch for my cockatiel, 3 weeks ago, and he’s taken to it right away. He even nibbles on it here and there. I picked the yellow one, which is really cute. I haven’t seen a difference in his nails yet, but I’m guessing it might take a little while. Hopefully.
